BBC Magazines, UK. Launched in 2008 – these are pages from the very first issue – this award-winning  magazine has established itself as one of the leading travel publications around the world. Its  commitment to intelligent, inquisitive travel journalism as well as wonderful photography has won it many fans.

Ringier Romandie, Switzerland. Published since 1923, L’illustré is an institution, a popular ‘illustrated weekly’ which covers a huge range of topics from the highly personal to the truly global. The sheer breadth of imagery is a joy – and sometimes a shock – to work with but each issue is a reminder that there’s nothing as interesting as human life.

Immediate Media, UK. One of the most exciting projects I’ve  worked on – a modern approach to popular history. Informative, entertaining and innovative, each issue features a 20-page special story on one historical period, complemented by a package of great ideas and very eclectic imagery – and no olde-worlde fonts to seen anywhere!

Jahr Top Special Verlag, Germany. I’ve become increasingly involved in specialist magazines, which I love because of the range of design skills required. foto Magazin illustrates this well – great images, rigorous reviews and lots of technical advice pages, quite a challenge to form into a coherent visual package.
